Dean Couluris

Dean Couluris has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on commercial loan operations. Dean most recently worked as the SVP, Commercial Loan Operations Manager at BankUnited since 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President at BankUnited f/k/a Herald National Bank from 2008 to 2013. Dean also worked as First Vice President at Amalgamated Bank for a short period in 2008. Before that, they were a Vice President at Capital One, f/k/a North Fork Bank from 2001 to 2008. In addition, they served as an Assistant Vice President at Marathon Bank from 1998 to 2001. Dean's work experience also includes a role as an Associate/Law Graduate at Gutman, Mintz, Baker & Sonnenfeldt, P.C. from 1992 to 1998, and an Internship at the Embassy of Greece, Office of the Economic Minister in 1988.

Dean Couluris earned a BA in English from Stony Brook University in 1988. Dean then pursued a JD degree in Law from New England Law | Boston, completing it in 1991. Prior to their university education, Dean graduated from Smithtown High School East in 1985. Dean also obtained certification as an Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar from the State of New Jersey.
