Donna D. Zampi

Donna D. Zampi, Ph.D. has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Donna D. began their career in 2005 at Capital One, where they held various senior management positions, including Compliance Senior Program Manager and Senior Group Manager. In 2012, they joined SunTrust as a PMO for their Mortgage division.

Zampi then worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond from 2015 to 2021, initially in the Business Management Office of the Treasury Services Division and later in the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer's PMO. Donna D. joined Truist in 2020 as a Technology Risk professional before transitioning to Advisor Group in 2022 as the EPMO, Sr Portfolio Manager. Donna D. was responsible for managing multiple portfolios, overseeing resource allocation, implementing quality assurance initiatives, and monitoring financial performance.

Zampi also has experience in academia, having worked as a Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Business since 2019. Their teaching portfolio includes undergraduate courses in strategy, planning, project management, business intelligence, data mining, management information systems, and IT auditing. In this role, they develop course content, delivers lectures, creates assessments, and mentors students both online and in-person.

Most recently, Zampi joined BankUnited in 2022 as the VP, Transformation Portfolio Manager, in charge of managing the bank's transformation initiatives.

Donna D. Zampi, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology from Northcentral University. Donna D. also has a Master of Science degree in Systems Management (Engineering) from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Studies (Psychology) from Atlantic University. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as Operational Risk Management, Organizational Change Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Data Management Maturity (DMM), ITIL v4, ITIL Continual Service Improvement, Information Systems, Lean/Six Sigma, Mentorship, PMP, PgMP, School of Mortgage Banking (SOMB) I, and School of Mortgage Banking (SOMB) II.
