Eduardo Montorro

Eduardo Montorro, CPA, MBA has a diverse work experience in financial reporting and accounting policy. From 2010 to the present, they have been working at BankUnited, starting as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst before progressing to roles such as Vice President, Financial Reporting Manager, Vice President, Senior Financial Reporting Manager, and currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Director of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy.

Prior to their time at BankUnited, Eduardo worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP from 2006 to 2010 as a Senior Associate, gaining valuable experience in auditing and financial services.

Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, they worked at World Fuel Services as a Staff Accountant from 2004 to 2005.

At the start of their career, Eduardo worked at Brockhouse Associates, PA as a Project Manager from 1997 to 2004, building their skills in project management and financial analysis.

Eduardo Montorro, CPA, MBA has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a major in Management and International Business, from Florida International University - College of Business. Eduardo also holds another Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution. In 2019, they completed the Wharton Leadership Program at The Wharton School. Eduardo is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Florida and the State of Delaware. Recently, they have pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, expected to be completed in 2023.
