Michael Banfield has significant experience in the banking industry, with a career spanning from 1987 to the present at Bankwest. Initially serving in various roles, including Manager of Staff Lending and Credit Manager, Michael transitioned to more specialized positions such as Product Liaison Manager for Mortgages and Manager of the Credit Liaison Team. In 2001, Michael became the Manager of Secured Recoveries, focusing on monitoring and managing provisions and impaired asset levels for residentially secured debt. Previously, as State Manager for Retail Credit Decisions in WA, VIC, and SA, responsibilities included overseeing a team of Credit Managers and Officers handling credit decisions for credit cards, personal loans, and housing loans. Michael's educational background includes completion of studies at Forrestfield Senior High School.
