David I. Matson

David I. Matson is the current Director at Banner Bank. David has over 14 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on mortgage loans.

Matson began their career in 2006 as a VP, Real Estate Loan Officer for Business Bank of Skagit County. In this role, they were responsible for promoting and developing the bank's real estate lending business in Bellingham and Whatcom County. David was successful in this role, closing over $24 million in real estate loans in 2007.

In 2009, Matson joined Washington Federal (formerly Horizon Bank) as a Mortgage Loan Officer. In this role, they provided clients with 1-4 Family Residential Mortgages that were suited to their financial goals and financial well being. David also effectively managed mortgage applications to insure smooth and timely loan processing, underwriting approval and closing.

In 2011, Matson left Washington Federal to join Banner Bank as their Director. In this role, they are responsible for the overall management of the bank's mortgage lending division.

David I. Matson holds a B.S. from the University of Oregon's Charles H. Lundquist College of Business in the field of business/marketing and finance.
