Rob Butterfield

Rob Butterfield, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Banner Bank, a position held since September 2015. Previously, Rob held the title of Controller/SVP at Umpqua Bank from April 2014 to September 2015 and was the Controller & Principal Accounting Officer/Senior VP at Sterling Savings Bank from October 2001 to April 2014. Rob's career in finance began as an Auditor at BDO USA, LLP from January 1997 to July 2000, followed by a role as Controller at Source Capital Corporation until October 2001. Rob possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Eastern Washington University and has furthered professional development at the Pacific Coast Banking School and the AICPA Banking School. At Banner Bank, Rob manages an accounting department comprising 27 staff members, focusing on team organization and motivation to support the bank’s growth initiatives.
