Dean Tyo

Dean Tyo has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Dean began their career at DSP Control Group, Inc. in 1995, where they worked as an Electrical/Software Engineer until 1997. Tyo then joined Guidant Corporation as a Software Engineer, holding the position for three years. In 2000, they transitioned to Banner Engineering and took on various roles, including Principal Development Engineer, Software Group Lead, Chief Engineer - Vision and M&I Products, and Director of Engineering, Software Systems and Networking. Currently, Tyo serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Banner Engineering.

Dean Tyo earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1995. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 1999. In 2005, they obtained another Master of Science degree, this time in Management of Technology (MOT), from the University of Minnesota.
