Nicholas Olsen

Nicholas Olsen is a Mechanical Engineer with a solid background in product design and engineering, currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer 1 at Banner Engineering since February 2024. Previously, Nicholas held the position of Project Engineer in Plastic Systems and Technology Development at Polaris Inc., where bodywork designs were created to limit debris penetration in ORV cabs. With extensive experience at Banner Engineering as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Nicholas focused on new product design for industrial task lighting and machine indication products, utilizing techniques such as plastic injection molding and extrusion. Early career roles included Associate Design Engineer and Physics Learning Center Coach, along with an internship as an Automation Engineer at Plastech Corporation, where tooling and testing fixtures were designed. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, graduated in May 2021.
