Tao Cheng has a background in engineering and has worked at multiple companies. tao. started their career at Nokia in 2005 as an SMT Equipment / Process Engineer, where they worked until December 2011. Cheng then joined Huawei Technologies in December 2011 as a DFBA, and stayed there until July 2013. In April 2014, they joined Detection Technology as a Senior Assembly Process Development Engineer, where they currently work.

Tao Cheng obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, graduating between 2008 and 2011.
