Shaleen Vira

Shaleen Vira is a distinguished academic and clinical professional, currently serving as the Vice Chairman of Business Development and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery & Neurosurgery at Banner Health since May 2023. Vira is responsible for expanding the orthopaedic spine practice at Banner University Medical Center and leads spine surgery research. Prior to this role, Vira held multiple positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center from October 2019 to April 2023, including Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery, where numerous advancements in spine surgery were introduced.
