Rob Katz

Rob Katz is a partner at Banner & Witcoff, with a professional background in patent law and engineering. Katz has been an adjunct professor of law teaching Design Law at George Washington University since January 2013. Prior experience includes serving as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, where responsibilities included examining patent applications related to various material handling devices, and working as a mechanical engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, focusing on the design of mechanical and electromechanical systems for mainframe computers. Katz holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
