Florian Heinemann

Florian Heinemann is a German entrepreneur and investor. Florian is a General Partner at Project A, a Berlin-based venture capital firm.

Heinemann has a long history of working in the German startup ecosystem. Florian was previously the CEO of Electric Gamebox, a gaming company that was acquired by Henkel in 2014. Florian also co-founded Trade Republic, a mobile-first stock trading platform, and served as its COO until 2018.

In 2019, Heinemann co-founded LIQID, a neobank for entrepreneurs, and served as its CEO until 2020. Florian then joined Körber as an Entrepreneur in Residence.

Heinemann is an active angel investor and has made over 30 investments in companies such as Oetker Digital GmbH and Fressnapf Holding SE.

Florian Heinemann received a Master of Science in Business Administration from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Florian then went on to earn Research Doctorates/Ph.Ds in Business Administration from both the RWTH Aachen University and the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Florian was also a Visiting Scholar in Entrepreneurship at The Wharton School. Lastly, they completed Exchange Semesters in Business Administration at Stellenbosch University and EDHEC Business School.
