Gavin Chamberlain

Gavin Chamberlain has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and positions. Gavin is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bannerman Energy Ltd. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Kore Potash Plc from 2017 to 2023. Gavin held multiple roles at Amec Foster Wheeler, including Regional Director Mining Africa and Projects Director, from 2012 to 2017. Before that, they worked as the Commercial Director at Basil Read Turnkey Projects and as a Project Delivery Officer at TWP Consulting. With their background in civil engineering, Gavin previously worked as a Civil Engineer at Eskom and as a Site Agent at Fraser Alexander Construction. Overall, Gavin has a diverse background in the energy, mining, and construction industries.

Gavin Chamberlain attended the Gordon Institute of Business Science in 2009, where they completed the Global Executive Development Program. Prior to that, they obtained a GDE (Graduate Diploma in Education) in Waste Management and Tailings Design from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1990. Between 1982 and 1986, they attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Gavin'ssecondary education was completed at Ladysmith Highschool, where they earned their Matric in 1982.
