Marc van Opstal is a retired legal advisor and mediator specializing in Family Law and Inheritance Law, with extensive experience at Banning Advocaten since 2002, transitioning to retirement on January 1, 2023. Marc's legal career began with an advocacy role at BarentsKrans from 1982 to 1985 following studies in civil law at Leiden University. Specializing since the late 1990s in family law, particularly in matters concerning divorces and entrepreneurial alimony, Marc also played a significant role in the Collaborative Practice Center from 2017 to 2023, where collaborative law practices were employed.
