Traudel Schmidt's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked at ATV GmbH as an Advanced Training Life Science Management. In 2013, they joined Lophius Biosciences GmbH as a Manager Clinical Trial Coordination and later transitioned to the role of Senior Manager Clinical Trial Coordination. During their time at Lophius Biosciences GmbH, they were responsible for managing clinical studies in Germany and Austria in various fields such as immunology, infectiology, transplantation, and autoimmune disease. Traudel'sresponsibilities included concept and budget preparation, site training and preparation, submission at authorities and ethic committees, initiation of sites, conduction control, close-out activities, evaluation, and publication. In 2021, Traudel Schmidt joined FUTRUE Research & Science GmbH as a Senior Manager Clinical Trials, where they worked until 2022. Currently, they are working at Banook Group as a Country Lead Study Manager, starting in 2022.

Traudel Schmidt pursued their education at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Traudel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedicine from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedicine from the same university between 2005 and 2007. Traudel continued their academic journey at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and earned a doctoral degree, specifically a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.), in Developmental Biochemistry from 2007 to 2012.
