Miguel Castellanos

Miguel Castellanos is the current HR Director at Banorte Securities. Miguel has over thirteen years of experience in Human Resources. Miguel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.

Miguel began their career in 2008 as an HR Coordinator for PEMEX. In this role, they coordinated logistics for the 6th National Oil Company Forum and had administrative oversight of 400 employees. Miguel also conducted performance evaluations for managers and executives twice per year and identified employees with leadership skills for additional opportunities.

In 2011, Miguel became the Human Resources Manager for PEMEX Procurement International, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and managing HR programs, recruiting and staffing, employee development and employee relations. Miguel also handled the benefits and payroll functions for more than 75 employees in the United States and Mexico.

In 2021, Miguel became the Director of Talent for LAP Energy USA. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring candidates. Miguel also developed training programs for new hires and conducted performance reviews.

Miguel is currently the HR Director at Banorte Securities. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and benefits administration.

Miguel Castellanos has a Master of Science in Human Resources/Human Development from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Universidad Panamericana.
