Maxime Mermier

Maxime Mermier is a highly experienced financial professional with a career spanning over two decades at BCV - Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer, Head of Risk Management, and Senior Vice President, Maxime is responsible for overseeing Credit, Market, and Operational Risk Management and the implementation of the Internal Control System, while also being a member of the BCV Risk Committee. Previous roles include Head of Financial Risk Management, Assistant to the CFO, Structured Products Trader, and Credit Risk Manager. Maxime also chairs the Foundation Board of Fondation de prévoyance en faveur de l’encadrement supérieur de la BCV and serves on the Foundation Board and Investment Committee of Caisse de pensions de la Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. Academically, Maxime holds a Dual EMBA Degree from Carnegie Mellon University and HEC Lausanne, and multiple certifications in financial risk management, including a Certificate in Sustainability and Climate Risk from GARP.
