Soledad Zignago is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in international economics and trade. Currently serving at Banque de France since September 2010, Zignago has held various senior positions, including advisor, senior economist, and deputy head of the Structural Policies Division, where responsibilities encompassed leading economic analysis and policy recommendations on growth and structural reforms. Additionally, Zignago has been involved with the Association Française de Science Economique as an elected member since 2018 and previously worked as a principal economist at BBVA Research, focusing on emerging markets. Earlier roles included research on international trade at CEPII and academic positions at Université Paris1 and other institutions. Zignago holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
