Hatem Fakhr currently serves as the Origination & Business Development Head at Banque Misr UAE since November 2023, previously holding the position of Executive Director - Corporate Origination & Business Development at Mashreq Bank from June 2018 to January 2021. With extensive experience in corporate banking, Hatem led teams at Mashreq Bank, achieving aggressive growth targets and overseeing significant portfolios, including AED 4 billion at Mashreq Bank Dubai. Earlier career roles include Relationship Manager and Business Support Manager at Barclays Egypt, where management of substantial portfolios and client relationships in diverse sectors was pivotal. Hatem's educational background comprises an MBA in Finance from Canadian University Dubai and a BBA from Cairo University, complemented by a Diploma in Financial Services from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
