Verónica González Riojas has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Verónica started their career as a Software Developer at Value Grupo Financiero and worked there from 1996 to 2001. Verónica then joined Grupo Financiero Banorte and held various roles, including Senior Business Portfolio and Project Manager from 2008 to 2013, Deputy Director of Branch & ATM Network Administration and Innovation from 2013 to 2017, and Deputy Director of Business Architecture at BanRegio since 2017. In their roles, Verónica has been responsible for strategic planning, project management, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance banking operations and improve customer experience.

Verónica González Riojas earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management with a specialization in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 1991 to 1996.
