Herbert Hernandez

Herbert Hernandez has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a professional soccer player for various teams in Guatemala from 1991 to 2000. Herbert then worked at Banco GyT Continental from 2001 to 2017, holding positions such as Director Regional de Agencias, Director Remesas Familiares, and Gerente de Emigrantes. In 2012, they joined Bantrab as Director Division Comercial until 2021. Herbert recently became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bantrab in January 2022.

Herbert Hernandez has a diverse education history in the fields of technology, business, and digital transformation. Herbert is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Transformacion Digital from Panamerican Business School, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2020. Herbert also holds a certificate in Disrupted Digital Technologies Management from ICEMD. In 2018, they completed a course in Strategic Management of Innovation and Digital Transformation from Florida International University. Herbert obtained a degree in Liderazgo en la Innovación and Tecnología de la información from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Herbert also has a degree in Licenciatura en Informática y Administración de Negocios from Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Additionally, Herbert has obtained a certification in SCRUM from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Herbert obtained this certification in October 2019.
