Darren Curran is the current president of Bantrel, Inc.

Darren Curran began their career in 1992 as a maintenance engineer for Consumers Cooperative Refineries Ltd. (CCRL). In 1994, they joined Bantrel as a lead project engineer. Darren remained with the company until 1996 when they left to work as a project and construction manager for KODAK (China) Company.

In 1997, Darren Curran returned to North America to work as a site manager for Chevron's CALTEX Ocean Gas & Energy division. Darren held this position until 1999 when they left to join MW Kellogg as a project / process systems engineer.

In 2000, Darren Curran began working for Bahrain Petroleum Company as a project manager. Darren remained with the company until 2003 when they left to join Husky Energy as a project manager for major projects. Darren held this position until 2008 when they left to join Bantrel as president.

Darren Curran received a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1991 and is certified as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

Some direct reports include Brian Cole - VP Mining, Infrastructure & Construction, Paul Gosse - VP Energy & CFO, and Laurie Hildebrand - General Counsel, Risk Manager and Ethics & Compliance Officer.
