Josh D'ambrosio

General Manager at Banxa

Josh D'ambrosio is the current General Manager at Banxa. Prior to this, Josh worked as a Digital Risk Advisory at EY from February 2013 to July 2017 where they provided advisory services to blue chip companies on enterprise-level risk management practices and prepared successful tender applications for large advisory projects. In this role, Josh also supervised and coached up to nine staff as well as oversaw budgeting and forecasting for complex and concurrent projects across a range of industries such as Banking, Telco and Public Services.

Before EY, Josh was with the University of Melbourne from March 2010 to August 2010 as a System Debugger for the University's transition to a new student information system. Josh's duties included user testing and migration work with various faculties. Josh was able to develop a technique to semi-automate the process of data migration, saving the University hundreds of hours in the process.

From November 2008 to January 2016, Josh was the Founder of Australian Dodgeball Federation and Melbourne Dodgeball. Under their leadership, the organisation grew from a small local club to a national federation with thousands of members across Australia.

Josh D'ambrosio completed their Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. Josh then went on to study at Lund University and Queen's University. Josh completed their schooling at Ivanhoe Grammar.

Their manager is Holger Arians, CEO. They work with Richard Mico - General Counsel, Erryn Mcrae - Head of Product, and Iain Clark - CTO.
