Shawn Franklin

Shawn Franklin is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operations and value-based care. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and EVP of Operations at Banyan Health Systems since March 2025, Shawn previously held leadership roles at MDVIP, including Vice President of Physician Services, where the focus was on enhancing personalized preventative care through a vast network of primary care physicians. Prior to MDVIP, Shawn served as Executive Director and Associate Vice President at Baptist Health South Florida, overseeing the development of a clinically integrated network. Additional experience includes leading Holy Cross Physician Partners, managing a multi-specialty group practice at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, and contract negotiations at Florida Blue. Shawn holds both a Master's degree in Health Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
