Rick Chappel

Rick Chappel has a diverse work experience spanning several prominent companies. Rick is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Banyan Technology since May 2023. Prior to this, Rick held multiple roles at Zilliant, starting from Practice Director from June 2010 to March 2017, Vice President of Customer Success from March 2017 to February 2021, and finally, SVP of Services and Customer Success from February 2021 to November 2022. During their time at Zilliant, they oversaw global operations, drove enhancements to customer success programs, and managed professional services and customer support. Before Zilliant, Rick worked as the Manager of Global Hosting at Ariba, Inc from June 2003 to June 2005. Rick started their career at Accenture as the Manager of SAP Practice, where they worked from an unspecified start date until 1998.

Rick Chappel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In February 2015, they earned the ADKAR Change Management certification from Prosci. Later on, in December 2022, they obtained certifications in Design Thinking: Understanding the Process and Organization Design, both from LinkedIn. Finally, in January 2023, they completed the Coaching and Developing Employees certification, also from LinkedIn.
