Katrina Sands has a wealth of experience in business operations, event planning and tourism marketing. Katrina began their career in 2013 as a Tourism Marketing Intern at the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. In 2014, they took on the role of Sales Associate at Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier. In 2016, they worked as an Event Design Intern at Intrigue Design & Events, where they were responsible for full service event planning and utilizing vendor and supplier relationships. In 2017, they were an Activities Coordinator at EF Education First, where they were responsible for travel planning and curating local and national vendor relationships. In 2018, they became an Operations Manager at Snack Proud, where they were responsible for sourcing healthy snacks and working with suppliers to negotiate attractive terms. Finally, in 2020, they joined Banza as a Senior Associate Business Operations, and later became a Business Operations Associate and Operations Analyst.
Katrina Sands attended the College of Charleston from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Business Administration. In 2015, they studied Event Planning and Design at the Auckland University of Technology. In 2014, they studied Fashion Marketing at the Florence University of the Arts. No additional certifications have been obtained.
