Kenneth White is a security principal at MongoDB since October 2017, with a robust background in cybersecurity and cryptography. Currently, Kenneth serves on the Black Hat Review Board and leads the Open Source Cryptography Track at ICMConference.org, while also co-founding and holding the position of principal at BAO Systems since 2012. As the director and co-founder of the Open Crypto Audit Project since November 2013, Kenneth has significantly contributed to software security assurance during tenure at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Previous roles include senior vice president of R&D at Dovel Technologies and principal consultant at The Linux Foundation. Kenneth's academic credentials include an EdM in cognitive assessment from Harvard University, a PhD program in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at the University of Maryland, and a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.
