Jenny Davis

Jenny Davis serves as the Literary Manager at Palm Beach Dramaworks, overseeing the Perlberg New Play Festival and advising on literary matters. As a Resident Playwright at Baobab Studios and a Company Member of The Gift Theatre in Chicago since 2006, Jenny has an extensive background in playwriting. Notably, Jenny is actively self-employed as a playwright, screenwriter, and lecturer, with projects developed in collaboration with major organizations such as Fox Animation and SONY. Jenny also has a role as an affiliated writer at The Playwrights Center of Minneapolis, where teaching and evaluating fellowships are part of their contributions. Recent screenwriting work includes adaptations for Prime Video and Iconoclast, while notable plays include "Scientific Method," nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award. Jenny holds an MFA in Playwriting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago.
