Giles Thomas is an accomplished entrepreneur and logistics expert with extensive experience in the wine industry and telecommunications. As the Founder, Owner, and Operator of Baobab Wines since November 2015, Giles has successfully imported South African wines, focusing on quality and value. Additionally, Giles founded Siri Selections in September 2022, a boutique distributor of fine wines in Colorado, emphasizing environmentally and ethically responsible practices. With a significant background in logistics, including leadership roles at Vodacom, British American Tobacco, and Exel, Giles has developed and implemented comprehensive logistics strategies across various international markets. Education includes a BA with Honours in African Studies from the University of Birmingham.

Frustrated with the export driven South African brands that overwhelmed the US wine market we sought out family owned and operated Vineyards from each appellation with a commitment to tell the true story of the South African wine industry - our history, our terroir, our culture, and what is driving the future of winemaking in South Africa We represent the wines that we drink back home. Distributing nationally across the United States we have built the reputation of having one of the most exciting South African wine portfolios in the Country.
