Ilyaaz Hoosain

Ilyaaz Hoosain currently serves as the Head of Audit: Cyber & Information Security at Bapco Energies, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Ilyaaz worked at KPMG Bahrain as an Associate Director from November 2021 to August 2024, and at EY with a tenure from May 2016 to November 2021, where roles included Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Manager of Cyber Security in Advisory Services. Earlier experience includes serving as IT Audit Manager - Network Security and ICT Security Management Consultant at the Auditor General of South Africa from February 2010 to April 2016. Ilyaaz holds a Matric from Rylands High School and multiple certifications including CISSP, CISM, and CEH from ISC2.
