Tim Farren

Tim Farren has been Deputy Chair at Baptcare since July 2016. Prior to that, they were Consumer Business Leader at Santa Fe Wridgways from November 2015 to July 2016. From September 2013 to August 2015, Tim was National Business Development Manager at Arthur J. Gallagher - Australia.

In their role as National Business Development Manager, Tim was responsible for reviewing and monitoring branch new business plans/pipelines, working in partnership with insurers to drive new business initiatives, attendance of internal / external events, client industry forums, and education sessions for the purpose of networking with prospects and clients to develop existing cross-sell opportunities and identify new/new opportunities. Tim also initiated new business discovery meetings with prospects, including prioritising opportunities and securing support from Subject Matter Experts for each opportunity. In addition, they led the conversion of new business opportunities including preparation of tender reports and capability statements in collaboration with Branch Managers and Practice Leaders across Commercial and C & S divisions.

Tim Farren is a business/managerial economist who has studied at The University of Manchester, Beechen Cliff School, and Birkenhead School. Tim holds certifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Institute of Risk Management, and IOSH.
