Brian Cafferty, M.B.A., SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a strong background in human resources. Brian started their career as the Regional HR Director at Omnicare, where they oversaw the growth of the region from 400 to 1,800 employees. Brian also led the HR compliance portion of a successful Joint Commission Accreditation survey and implemented initiatives to automate payroll processing.
From there, Cafferty became the HR Director at Summit Medical Group, where they held the responsibility of managing the HR department. Brian then moved on to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they served as an HR Information Systems Consultant and later as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this role, they provided internal HR business consulting services and was responsible for the design and implementation of various HR systems and processes.
Currently, Cafferty holds the position of Director of Human Resources at Baptist Life Communities, where they oversee all HR functions.
Brian Cafferty, M.B.A., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, completed their education with an MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Syracuse University between the years 1985 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Cedarville University between 1977 and 1981.
In addition to their educational background, Brian holds two additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, and in 2013, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
