John Sullivan M.D.

John Sullivan MD, SFHM currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and President of Hospital Medicine at ApolloMD since November 2022 and is also a Clerkship Faculty in Internal Medicine at Florida State University College of Medicine since 2020. With extensive experience in hospital medicine, John Sullivan holds the positions of Hospitalist Medical Director and Hospitalist at Baptist Health Care since March 2006, and has been the Hospice Medical Director at Gentiva Health Services since October 2007, previously serving as the Senior Hospice Medical Director from 2011 to 2013. John's earlier roles include Hospitalist at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center from October 2000 to March 2006 and at Ochsner Health System from July 1999 to October 2000. Educated at Tulane University where a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology was obtained from 1988 to 1991, John Sullivan earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport between 1992 and 1996.
