Misty Fuentes

Misty Fuentes is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in progressive care and oncology nursing. Currently serving as a Progressive Care Nurse at Baptist Health since July 2021, Misty has been recognized as a Daisy Award Recipient and is responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical care coordination. Prior to this role, Misty worked as a Progressive Care Nurse at UF Health, where direct care for critically ill patients was provided, and as a Registered Nurse in surgical and medical-surgical oncology at Baptist Health. Misty's career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant at JPMorgan Chase, transitioning into nursing roles after obtaining an Associate of Arts degree and progressing through Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Registered Nursing from Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of Florida, respectively.
