Joel Rownak

Joel Rownak serves as the Director of Information Systems for both Baptist Health and Sparks Health System, managing IT operations for multiple hospitals and physician practices across two states. With extensive experience in IT management, Rownak has developed methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Previous roles include Manager of Information Systems at Northwest Health System, where leadership involved overseeing IT teams and staff development, and Systems Administrator positions focusing on virtualization and disaster recovery planning at both Northwest Health System and Wachter, Inc. Rownak's technical expertise spans application integration, clinical informatics, network support, and medical imaging, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.
