William Cloud, MD, MACM, currently serves as Vice President and System Chief Medical Officer at Baptist Memorial Health Care since August 2019, also holding the position of President of the Baptist Clinical Research Institute and overseeing Graduate Medical Education. In addition, William is a member of the HealthTrust National Physician Advisory Board and the HealthTrust Surgery Council since March 2017. William obtained a Master of Academic Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and holds an MD as well as a residency and fellowship in surgery from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. An undergraduate degree in Premedical was earned from Davidson College.
