Harry M. Salinas

Harry M. Salinas is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Baptist Health South Florida since August 2017. Prior to this role, Salinas completed a Plastic Surgery Residency at Harvard University from July 2014 to July 2017 and served as a Plastic Surgery Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2009 to June 2014, focusing on fat grafting, adipose derived stem cells, and arterial reconstruction techniques. Salinas' background includes experience as a General Surgery Resident at Harvard Medical School and as an Anatomy Instructor. Early career roles involved serving as a Research and Development Engineer at Esoterix, where Salinas directed the development of automated cell staining systems, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Miami's Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, implementing advanced imaging techniques. Salinas holds an MD from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a B.Sc. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Miami. Notable funding includes the Kazanjian Research Fellowship and the Plastic Surgery Foundation Research Grant.
