Shazia Ahmed has over two decades of experience in project and programme management, currently serving as Vice President of Transformation at bp since December 2004. In this role, Shazia has designed and implemented a centralized and agile operating model focused on end-to-end value delivery. Previous experience includes managing the Downstream Global Reliability Improvement Programme at bp, aimed at enhancing refinery reliability through innovative processes and technology. Shazia has a strong background in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/SDLC methodologies and has held project management positions at HBOS and Cedalion Ltd prior to joining bp. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business with Information Management from Edinburgh Napier University, completed in 2000.
