Damian Kearney

Damian Kearney is an experienced independent investigator and safeguarding consultant, currently serving as a Lay Member at the Bar Standards Board since April 2024. With extensive involvement in regulatory and disciplinary processes, Kearney holds multiple independent and lay member roles, including positions at the Parole Board for England and Wales, the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Administration Limited, and ICAEW Regulation and Conduct. Additionally, Kearney contributes as a Consultant Investigator for the House of Commons and is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons' Preliminary Investigation Committee, providing independent support in complaint and disciplinary investigations. Kearney also serves as a Specialist Arbitrator for the National Safeguarding Panel for Sport and holds various positions at ACCA and the Age Check Certification Scheme.
