Karima Ladhani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia, entrepreneurship, and research. Currently, Ladhani serves as a Faculty member at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on the Future of Health & Economic Resiliency in Africa, and as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Ladhani is also the Founder and CEO of Barakat Bundle, a role held since 2015. Previous positions include Director of Program Management & Research at the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program, Newborn Health Researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and various roles in research and consulting at leading institutions. Ladhani holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Harvard University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Finance from the University of Waterloo and an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Barakat Bundle
Barakat Bundle is a curated bundle of life-saving solutions and health education to support mothers and their newborns in South Asia. The bundle itself doubles as a portable crib in which the newborn can sleep or play. Receipt of the bundle is conditional on mothers delivering at a health care center.
