Alejandro J. Cantos Escolano

Alejandro J. Cantos Escolano has a wide range of work experience. In 2021, they began working as VP of Product & Design for Barbara, where they lead all design, UX/UI and product engineering activities. In 2020, they became a Professor of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at IE Business School, where they received several awards for teaching excellence. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at GTD, first as Head of Robotics, then as Product Manager, and finally as Technical Lead. From 2013 to 2020, they were a Professor in Electronics and Avionics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as Senior Platform Engineer at VeriFone. From 2009 to 2010, they were an R&D Engineer at Schaltbau GmbH. From 2007 to 2009, they were a New Products Development Engineer at HHB Communications Ltd. Finally, in 2006, they worked as a Process Engineer at 3M.
