Miguel Angel Fernández Otero

Miguel Angel Fernández Otero has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Miguel Angel began their career in 2003 as a Data Applications Consultant for Sprint Technologies S.L. In 2006, they worked as a Master Thesis Worker in Radiation Group, Systems, Signals and Radiocomunications Department in ETSIT. In 2007, they became an R&D Engineer at Telefonica I+D. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Huawei as a Terminal Product Manager and Testing Engineer. From 2014 to 2018, they were a QA Manager at Silent Circle. In 2018, they became a Product and QA Manager at Bayshore Networks. In 2017, they co-founded Barbara IoT, where they served as Partner and Product Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined OPSWAT as Country Head and Project Manager.

Miguel Angel Fernández Otero received their Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2006/2007. Miguel Angel also completed a Master Thesis in Telecommunication Engineering titled "Smart control system for LEDs traffic-lights based".
