Carmen Okome

Carmen Okome has a diverse background in the arts and education, currently serving as an Assistant Producer for Visual Arts and Cross Arts at the Barbican Centre since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Learning and Consulting Assistant at Fearless Futures, Assistant Project Manager for the Explorers Project at the Natural History Museum, and Co Lead on the Buyers Remorse initiative focused on decolonising arts education in Leeds. Carmen has also held positions as a Learning Facilitator and Operations Intern at Fearless Futures, an Assistant Teacher with Rebel Girls at Pavilion, and contributed as a Learning Facilitator in earlier roles. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Leeds, completed in 2021.
