Harriet Bird

Harriet Bird is an experienced fundraising professional with a strong background in trusts and grants management within the arts sector. Currently serving as Senior Trusts and Grants Manager at the Barbican Centre since December 2018, Harriet previously held roles at Cardboard Citizens and London Sinfonietta, where responsibilities included leading fundraising efforts from trusts, foundations, and individual donors. Harriet's earlier experience includes developing and managing various fundraising activities at Manchester Camerata Ltd, where significant contributions were made to both individual and corporate giving. Educationally, Harriet holds a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Leeds and a solid foundation in music management from previous roles, showcasing a dedicated commitment to arts development and fundraising initiatives.
