Harriet Usher

Harriet Usher currently serves as the Head of Strategy at the Barbican Centre, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Harriet worked at the Society of London Theatre/UK Theatre as the Head of Strategy and Projects on a fixed-term contract from May to December 2023. Experience also includes serving as Senior Producer at Shakespeare's Globe from June 2022 to May 2023, and Lead Producer at Coventry City of Culture Trust from April 2021 to July 2022. Harriet's earlier roles encompass Executive Director at Les Enfants Terribles Theatre Company and Senior Project and Audience Development Manager at the Society of London Theatre/UK Theatre, where responsibilities included leading special projects and audience development initiatives. Additional managerial experience includes positions at curious directive, Company 3, and Secret Cinema. Harriet holds a Geography MA Hons. from The University of Edinburgh.
