Michael Meyer

Michael Meyer has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Vice President at Barbier International, Inc. from July 2014 until June 2020. Michael then moved on to become the President at the same company from June 2020 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Barbier International, Inc. which they started in January 2023. Prior to their work at Barbier, Meyer worked as a Teacher at both Hillsboro School District from August 2007 to June 2014 and Silver Falls School District from August 2005 to June 2007.

Michael Meyer earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the University of Washington between 1994 and 1997. Michael then pursued higher education, obtaining a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2003 to 2005. Finally, they attended Lewis & Clark College from 2006 to 2007 to earn a Special Education Endorsement with a focus on Special Education and Teaching.
