Wes Reid

Wes Reid is a seasoned professional in technical theatre and event management, currently serving as a System Integrator at Barbizon Lighting Company since March 2024. With extensive experience as Technical Director at Episcopal High School since August 2016, Wes oversees the maintenance and operation of theatre spaces and sound systems. Previously, Wes held the position of Sr. Operations Manager/Producer at Ampa Events, where responsibilities included event setup supervision and personnel scheduling. Wes also contributed to education as a Teacher at Gibbs High School and Technical Director at Pinellas County Center for the Arts, advising students and managing multiple theatre spaces. Early career experience includes roles as Signal Tester at Pre-Optipost, A/V Technician at Davidson College, and Technical Director for the Opera House Theatre Company, complemented by a B.A. in Technical Theatre and Design from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
