Karlyn Meyer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Karlyn started their career as a Public Affairs Intern at Time Warner Cable in 2004. Karlyn then worked as a Proofreader at Educational Testing Service from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they served as a Research Assistant for Professor Sungjoon Cho at Chicago Kent College of Law. Karlyn joined the US Army as a JAG Intern in 2008 and also worked as a Judicial Intern at the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois that same year. In 2009, they returned to Chicago Kent College of Law as a Research Assistant for Professor Christopher Leslie. Karlyn then joined BARBRI Global in 2010 as a Senior Editor. Over the years, they held various roles at BARBRI Global, including National ADA Director, Regional Learning Manager, Manager of Bar Review Curriculum, and Senior Product Manager of Curriculum. Recently, they have been working as the Director of Media Content at BARBRI Global since March 2022.

Karlyn Meyer completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Spanish at Texas Lutheran University from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2010, they attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property.
