Alex Collado

Alex Collado is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in IT security, project management, and innovation within various departments of Barcelona City Council since July 2009. Serving as Jefe de proyectos y consultor de seguridad IT, Collado specializes in perimeter and preventive security measures. Previous roles include responsibility for the Oficina Técnica de Seguridad and consulting on technological solutions, demonstrating expertise in both security and system design. Additional experience includes teaching as an associated professor at UAB Campus and leading the IT department at Grupo AMT. Collado holds a degree in Ingeniero Técnico Superior en Informática from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, along with multiple certifications in ethical hacking, ISO standards, and cloud security.
