Marc Sans Guanyabens

Marc Sans Guanyabens is an International Economic Promotion Adviser at Barcelona City Council since July 2022, specializing in economic diplomacy, international talent attraction, and city branding for Barcelona, recognized as the Mediterranean Tech Capital. In addition, Marc coordinates the Discover Barcelona Innovation Ecosystem programme for ELISAVA’s Executive Masters. Previously, Marc served as a City Promotion Adviser at BARCELONA ACTIVA from September 2003 to June 2022, focusing on promoting Barcelona as a leading hub for creativity, talent, and technology in southern Europe. Early career experience includes roles as an Assistant to the Director of the Legal Department at EURGABINET GESTIÓ and as an Assistant to the head of the Legal Department at Paradis Empresa. Marc holds a Law degree from Universitat de Barcelona, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
